Charming antique (circa 1920's) diamond and synthetic sapphire 18k yellow and white gold ring. The shank has a flat profile.

The use of synthetic sapphires was quite popular during the 1920's-1930's and they were considered a modern improvement to their natural counterparts due to their uniformity of color the differences only detectable with a microscope.

Synthetic Sapphires: Two (2) bezel set, step cut measuring approximately 3.3 x 3.0 mm each.
